The MCCCA Partnership

The Macon County Ministers' Council in partnership with the Macon County Coalition for Community Advancement is committed to the prevention of illicit drug use and drug abuse in our community. We propose the following in our support of the drug prevention effort in our community:

•  We propose to provide a concerted multimedia education and prevention effort that will distribute information on drug abuse prevention throughout Macon County . We will do this using internet, multimedia and direct distribution of printed material.

•  We propose through existing and new programs to reach the target group as identified by the Macon County Coalition for Community Advancement.

•  We will work with churches and ministries in the county to supplement and augment existing efforts to reach the target audience and identified by the Coalition.

•  We will also develop a measuring tool that will attempt to measure the impact of our methods on our community.

Meeting Dates:

Meetings are held at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:00am.
